Copyright at Brexit and Beyond

Briffa Layers, Business Design Centre, London

WORKSHOP - Copyright at Brexit and Beyond

5 March 2018 4.00 - 6.00pm
Briffa Laywers - Business Design Centre, London

FREE FOR MEMBERS

While the type of Brexit we are about to experience is still unknown, Brexit will change our relationship with the EU and impact on copyright laws which have for the past 20 years been shaped by the EU.

FOCAL is hosting a panel discussion to give members an opportunity to find out what changes to the copyright landscape will be experienced after Brexit and ask questions about areas of concern for their own businesses.

The session will also aim to inform FOCAL about members views and allow FOCAL to respond to future calls for evidence from government on copyright law and policy. Come and have your say and what we expect to be a lively and informative session.

Speakers:

  • Margaret Briffa Founding Partner - Briffa
  • Mary Egan Director of Operations - FOCAL
  • Hari Prabu, Policy and Events Officer - Creative Industries Federation
  • David Burns, Policy Advisor on the Copyright Legal Framework, IPO
