Created in 2004, GP archives preserves, restores and exploits 15,000 hours of historical newsreels, documentaries as well as mute films produced by Gaumont, Pathé and Éclair since 1895. GP archives collections offer a wide choice of topics including the coverage of political, economic, cultural, artistic or sports events in France and throughout the world. Invested with the dual mission of preserving our film collections and providing our customers with the highest possible technical quality, dozens of films are daily scanned and digitized in 4K from the original 35mm elements.
