Having worked on numerous fast turnaround, live shows, I am highly experienced in sourcing archive footage and stills from a wide variety of traditional and non-traditional sources. Breakfast television has made me extremely proficient in dealing with pressure, being able to advise quickly on rights and fair dealing and negotiating the best prices for content. Whilst much of my archive work has been on Good Morning Britain and Lorraine, I have also worked across several high-profile prime time ITV shows such as both exclusive interviews with President Donald Trump. These shows featured a large amount of archive which needed to be licensed right up to transmission. Due to the nature of interviewing the President, there was a degree of secrecy and discretion was of utmost importance, this meant obtaining permission for archive had to be left until the interview had taken place. Having spent nearly a decade working in archives, I know that communication is a key part within a production and will always advise if content is not available as soon as possible and suggest suitable alternatives.
