October 2022 – present Grand Tour Productions (for Amazon Prime) “The Grand Tour” Working on the Eastern European Special, having to source and clear some particularly challenging archive of Eastern European motor racing from the 1980s and well as major film clearances. May 2022 – February 2023 Blast Films (For Sky) “Dublin Narcos” Working as an archive producer for a three-part documentary series on drug culture in Dublin in the 1970s,1980s and 1990s. Sourcing more unusual and unseen footage and stills from worldwide organisations and individuals as well as the usual archive houses to help tell the story. September 2021 –June 2022 Minnow Films (For ITV) “Britain’s most Notorious Prisons” Working as an archive Producer on a two-part documentary series for ITV of Britain’s most notorious prisons, Wormwood Scrubs and Strangeways. October 2021 – Current Naked –part of Fremantle (For BBC) “Great British Coastal Journeys” Working as a freelance archive producer across the series of Great British Coastal Journeys. Sourcing, clearing and negotiating costs for predominately historical footage and stills, a lot from individuals collections and sources outside the usual archive houses. March 2021 – October 2021 Arrow Media (For SKY) “Positive” Working as an archive producer on a three-part documentary series for Sky Documentaries about the history of HIV in the UK. Working with a lot of contributor archive as well as tracking down historical and scientifical footage and documentaries from around the world to help tell the story. September 2021 – November 2021 Flint tv (For Channel 4) “Britain’s Scenic Railways” Working as an Archive Producer on a four-part series about Britain’s Scenic Railways. Sourcing and clearing some more unusual and difficult to find historical footage and stills. March 2021 – July 2021 Voltage TV (For ITV) “Jimmy Savile – Portrait of a Predator” Working as an archive producer on a one- off documentary about Jimmy Savile. Dealing with a lot of challenging archive and having to make many alternative suggestions when many permission refusals are given! My role involves sourcing specialist footage and stills from international suppliers for all areas of a daily news and entertainment programme. These areas include lifestyle, current affairs, obits and showbiz. Day to day accessing of footage and stills on a promotional basis, negotiating licences and fees and identifying new suppliers. Working as a freelance picture researcher sourcing images to help build realistic wax work figures as well as sourcing and clearing footage to use alongside exhibitions. May 2003 – June 2007 GMTV Working as a picture researcher for GMTV, sourcing specialist footage and stills from international suppliers for all areas of a daily news and entertainment programme. Six months working as a researcher and picture researcher for the ‘Good Soap Guide’, a GMTV production for Living TV. Looking after and briefing the guests on studio days and location shoots. June 2014 – 2016 Neath Films/BSLBT Working as a freelance producer with Deaf directors on two documentary films for the zoom scheme for BSLBT (British Sign Language Broadcasting Trust). Zoom is the UK's first short film scheme solely for Deaf filmmakers. Set up by the BSLBT and Neath Films, the scheme gives people the opportunity to work with a professional production company to make their short films. Working with the two directors on every stage of the documentaries from helping to research ideas for contributors and locations to being involved with the final editing process. Working closely with the directors and series producers I managed the filming and editing schedules and budgets and planned every stage of the location filming. Producing all the location shoots working together with the director, DOP, assistant and interpreter.
