June 2014 – 2016 Neath Films/BSLBT Working as a freelance producer with Deaf directors on two documentary films for the zoom scheme for BSLBT (British Sign Language Broadcasting Trust). Zoom is the UK's first short film scheme solely for Deaf filmmakers. Set up by the BSLBT and Neath Films, the scheme gives people the opportunity to work with a professional production company to make their short films. Working with the two directors on every stage of the documentaries from helping to research ideas for contributors and locations to being involved with the final editing process. Working closely with the directors and series producers I managed the filming and editing schedules and budgets and planned every stage of the location filming. Producing all the location shoots working together with the director, DOP, assistant and interpreter.
