FOCAL Online Workshop: Security - How to keep your personal details safe

Zoom

In this webinar we discuss the concerns that arise when working on investigative / criminal theme productions what is the best way of keeping your personal details confidential. Many researchers and archive producers use their own email addresses, phones or social networks to locate people or companies - is this right? What is the best way to protect yourself? Should production companies supply you with secure email / phone? Is this something you should include in your freelance contract? What if they don’t consider your concerns to be valid or worthy of their time or resources?

This workshop brings together experienced professionals to discuss how they deal with this issue as well as what can be done to protect oneself.
