Media Gateway and BBC Motion Gallery Ink Deal on Mobile Content Distribution

Media Gateway, the leading international digital rights content aggregator for premium content, today announced a deal with BBC Motion Gallery, the footage sales arm of BBC Worldwide, to distribute the BBC content contained within their vast archive – one of the largest and most respected collections in the world.

Under the deal, Media Gateway will bring the best of BBC content from the last 60 years on demand to people on their mobile phones and via the Internet, in Europe and the Middle East. Encompassing 400,000 hours of video, BBC Motion Gallery’s unrivalled archive spans over 8 million subject categories - and it’s growing by the minute.
