51st Monte-Carlo Television Festival Announces Winners of the Prestigious Golden Nymph Awards

Winners of the prestigious Golden Nymph Awards were announced this evening at the 51st Monte-Carlo Television Festival, Golden Nymphs, covering a range of categories from television films, mini-series, TV series, documentaries and news as well as a number of special prizes including the International TV Audience Award; the Prince Rainier III Award and International Red Cross Committee Award were presented during the star-studded Awards Ceremony in the Grimaldi Forum.

Stars in Monte-Carlo for the five-day Television Festival have included cast members from hit international TV series such as Call Me Fitz, Criminal Minds, Desperate Housewives, Game of Thrones, Grey’s Anatomy, Law and Order, Misfits, Rookie Blue, Shameless, The Adventures of Merlin and The Mentalist along with an array of French and international stars.

This evening, SAS Prince Albert II of Monaco was joined on the red carpet by many US and international celebrities including: Felicity Huffman (Desperate Housewives), William H. Macy (Shameless), Owain Yeoman (The Mentalist), Bonnie Bedelia (Parenthood),
Patrick Duffy and Heather Tom (The Bold and the Beautiful), Jason Priestley (Call Me Fitz), Jesse Tyler Ferguson (Modern Family), Matthew Gray Grubler and Thomas Gibson (Criminal Minds), Jesse Williams (Grey’s Anatomy), Archie Panjabi (The Good Wife), Tracey Bregman, Judith Chapman and Daniel Goddard (The Young and The Restless), Las Alonso (Breakout Kings), Emilia Clarke and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Game of Thrones), Melissa Joan Hart and Joey Lawrence (Melissa and Joey), Corey Stoll (Law Order Los Angeles), Anthony Head and Katie McGrath (The Adventures of Merlin) and Travis Milne, Charlotte Sullivan and Gregory Smith (Rookie Blue).

Chief Executive Officer of The Monte Carlo TV Festival, David Tomatis said “This year we received many entries into the competition from all around the world and I am delighted to see so many international winners of Golden Nymphs. Other highlights of the 51st Monte-Carlo Television Festival included premiere screenings and numerous glamorous receptions organised by major television networks and studios, all of which contribute to the magical atmosphere of Monaco.

This year more than 300 journalists from around the world are present to cover this unique international television festival attended by the creative forces of the industry.
