WPA Film Library and ZDF in Exclusive Representation Deal
ZDF.archive and Chicago-based WPA Film Library have signed an exclusive international stock footage representation agreement, it was announced today by Nicola Goelzhaeuser, General Manager, WPA Film Library, and Fred Burcksen, VP Distribution and Investments, ZDF Enterprises.
ZDF.archive, a leading supplier of news, lifestyle and archival footage, will represent several thousand hours of WPA footage in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. WPA’s diverse library ranges from newsreels to musical performances to political and public affairs-oriented footage to contemporary stock shots and classic Americana.
“We are excited about our partnership with ZDF.archive,” said Goelzhaeuser, “ZDF is not only a household name for German TV viewers, but also holds the largest stock footage library in German speaking territories.
